The machine is made up of many parts, which all have their functions in the successful operation of the machine. The design of each part is deliberate for the performance of specific roles. Therefore, the following are the main components of this machine.

This is the whole machine structure where all the machine parts sit. It is the outer part of the machine, and all the other parts are contained inside the frame. This frame is made from robust materials because it supports the entire machine.
The materials used in making the frame are resistant to corrosion, harsh weather, and any form of potential physical destruction. This frame is the back born of the entire tube filling machine.
This is the container upon which the products intended to be filled into tubes are placed. It’s placed in an elevated position to aid in the easy flowing of products into the tubes during the filling.
Some machine has a single tank while others have many. The number of tanks is influenced by the design of the capacity for filling the products.
In some cases, customized tanks are available in the market. They are designed to meet the industrial specifications and requirements for a product. A good tank should work well even at temperature variations and must be resistant to corrosion. Therefore, the ideal material for manufacturing the tank is stainless steel.
Filling Nozzle
This part of the machine helps in controlling the product flow direction as it leaves the filler into the tubes.
By means of a tri-clover connection, the filling nozzle is connected to the product supply area. The part is very important since it’s one of the determinants of the machine’s functionality.
It has different designs, some of which are ideal for normal liquids, while others are relevant for low surface tension liquids.
When you intend to fill large volumes, filling nozzles of large sizes is relevant. However, it should not be too big to avoid issues of products dripping, leading to wastage.
Coding Jaws
This part helps quickly and easily set the equipment so that the tubes can have a quality finish. They are adjustable, and they work very well with tubes made from different materials.
The coding jaws also function perfectly on different tube thicknesses or hardness. This component also ensures the material elements are in good condition.
Dosing Pump
This is a displacement pump that helps in pumping products accurately into the tubes. It ensures the product flow rate is consistent through different methods.
It pulls quantified materials into the chamber and then injects them into the dosing tank. When the machine is running, you can control it through the outer control system or internal pump controller. This equipment is powered by an electric motor.
Control Unit
It is the machine component where all settings are pre-determined. This part is very critical, and any mistake on this part may yield undesired results. All machine parameters like speed and product quantity are controlled at this point.
The modern automatic machine has a touchscreen interface where all operation procedures are pre-determined before running it. A good control unit allows the machine operator to take full control of the equipment throughout the production process.
It has several buttons and therefore, for you to operate it, you must have a good knowledge of the machine. This will enable you to produce high-quality products by making sure the machine works efficiently and consistently.
Discharge Unit
This component allows the product to flow from the tank into the tubes. It is this part of the machine that determines the quantity of the products being ejected from the tank.
The unit helps in accurately measuring the right quantity of the products, which are in turn filled into the tubes.
The component allows for adjustments and, therefore, can function well even where varied needs are surrounding the necessary quantity.
Tube Holder
When the tubes are being filled up, it is this part of the machine that supports the tubes. They are usually many, but the number is determined by the capacity of the tubes in a single cycle. They normally rotate at a relatively high speed because they have to conform to the fill-up speed from the discharge unit.
The tube holders are very easy to manage since they operate automatically. They have a very firm grip on the tubes during filling and systematically push the tube to the next level. The consistency at which the holder shifts results from inhomogeneity in tube filling.
This is a funnel-like used to move products from one receptacle to another. Its size is determined by the machine size and is usually located at the upper part of the machine.
This is because this position helps to facilitate the sucking of products being filled into the machine. In addition to these, this machine component can be adjusted to the desired angle by the operator.
Electronic Box
All electronic connections of tube fillers are centralized in this box.
It is made in four parts:
  • Air switch which protects the machine circuit.
  • Relay that helps in controlling the VFD wiring board.
  • The wiring board connects all cables to the PLC so that the machine can work efficiently.
  • Transformer
  • Drive and Solenoid valve.
This is a component that converts the energy from electricity into mechanical energy. This part aids in providing enough power that drives the machine so that it can function efficiently.
Motor capacities are different, and this depends on the size of the load that the equipment is expected to drive. A machine with a heavy workload must, therefore, have a large capacity motor, which is also bigger.
Safety System
This part of the machine has got all the elements that influence the entire machine’s safety. It helps the machine user to safeguard himself against any emergency that may arise during operation.
Apart from this, it also helps you to contain any ugly situation that may lead to equipment damage. Normally, you just need to press some buttons, and the machine will have control over the situation at hand.
